Refund Policy for CreateQR.app
Last updated: 19 March 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds, trial cancellations, and billing-error reviews work for CreateQR.app subscriptions provided by PAYDOTCOM SRL ("CreateQR", "we", "us", or "our").
1. Trial before the first paid charge
CreateQR currently offers a 7-day free trial for eligible paid plans before the first paid subscription charge is processed.
The trial is the no-charge evaluation period for the selected paid plan.
If you do not want the subscription to convert into a paid plan, you must cancel before the trial end date shown in your account or checkout flow.
2. Canceling during the trial
If you cancel before the trial ends:
- the first paid charge should not be processed;
- your paid features may stop at the end of the trial;
- you can subscribe again later if you want to reactivate paid access.
Canceling the trial before the first charge is the main way to avoid paid billing if the service is not right for your use case.
3. Refunds after a paid charge
After a paid subscription charge is processed, fees are generally non-refundable.
We do not offer discretionary refunds simply because a subscription was unused, partially used, forgotten, or canceled after renewal.
However, we may issue a refund where:
- a refund is required by applicable law;
- there is a verified billing error, such as an unintended duplicate charge caused by payment processing;
- we determine that a payment was processed incorrectly because of a technical fault on our side.
4. Renewals and plan changes
Subscription renewals continue automatically unless canceled before the next billing date.
Renewal charges, upgrade charges, downgrade effects, and plan changes are generally non-refundable once the payment has been processed, except where required by law or where a verified billing error occurred.
Canceling a subscription stops the next renewal. It does not automatically reverse a payment that has already been processed.
5. EU and mandatory consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you may have statutory rights, including possible withdrawal or refund rights, depending on applicable law and the circumstances of your purchase.
Because CreateQR is a digital service, the scope of those rights may change once you request immediate access to the paid service or once the service begins, to the extent allowed by law.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
6. Billing error review
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us as soon as possible and include enough information for us to investigate, such as:
- the billing email address on the account;
- the approximate charge date;
- the amount charged;
- the reason you believe the charge was incorrect.
We may ask for additional details needed to verify the request.
7. How to request a review
To request a refund review or report a billing issue, use our Contact page.
Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund. We review each request against this Refund Policy, our billing records, and any mandatory legal obligations.
8. How approved refunds are returned
If a refund is approved, we will normally send it back to the original payment method used for the charge.
Processing times depend on the payment processor and your bank or card issuer.
9. Chargebacks and disputes
If you are unsure about a charge, please contact us first before opening a chargeback where possible.
This gives us a chance to review the issue and correct a confirmed billing error more quickly.
10. Changes to this Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our billing model, trial structure, legal requirements, or operational practices.
The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
