Refund Policy for CreateQR.app
Last updated: 9 August 2026
This Refund Policy explains how no-charge trials, paid-subscription refunds, and billing-error reviews work for CreateQR.app services provided by PAYDOTCOM SRL ("CreateQR", "we", "us", or "our").
1. No-charge 7-day trial
CreateQR may provide a 7-day trial of Pro features when an eligible account is created.
No payment card is required to start this trial. It is not a paid subscription, does not automatically convert into one, and does not create a charge solely because it ends. You do not need to cancel the trial to avoid a charge.
Paid billing can begin only after you deliberately select a paid plan, provide payment details, authorize the purchase, and complete checkout. Any renewal terms shown during that paid checkout then apply.
2. What happens when the trial ends
When the trial ends without an upgrade:
- trial-only Pro features pause, while your account remains available;
- a disabled dynamic QR code stops redirecting, so its printed QR will not reach the destination until it is reactivated by upgrading;
- a printed static QR code continues to work because it contains its destination directly, although Pro management, design, download, or analytics features may pause;
- you can choose a paid plan later to reactivate eligible features and dynamic QR codes.
3. Refunds after a paid charge
After a paid subscription charge is processed, fees are generally non-refundable.
We do not offer discretionary refunds simply because a subscription was unused, partially used, forgotten, or canceled after renewal.
However, we may issue a refund where:
- a refund is required by applicable law;
- there is a verified billing error, such as an unintended duplicate charge caused by payment processing;
- we determine that a payment was processed incorrectly because of a technical fault on our side.
4. Renewals and plan changes
Subscription renewals continue automatically unless canceled before the next billing date.
Renewal charges, upgrade charges, downgrade effects, and plan changes are generally non-refundable once the payment has been processed, except where required by law or where a verified billing error occurred.
Canceling a subscription stops the next renewal. It does not automatically reverse a payment that has already been processed.
5. EU and mandatory consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you may have statutory rights, including possible withdrawal or refund rights, depending on applicable law and the circumstances of your purchase.
Because CreateQR is a digital service, the scope of those rights may change once you request immediate access to the paid service or once the service begins, to the extent allowed by law.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
6. Billing error review
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us as soon as possible and include enough information for us to investigate, such as:
- the billing email address on the account;
- the approximate charge date;
- the amount charged;
- the reason you believe the charge was incorrect.
We may ask for additional details needed to verify the request.
7. How to request a review
To request a refund review or report a billing issue, use our Contact page.
Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund. We review each request against this Refund Policy, our billing records, and any mandatory legal obligations.
8. How approved refunds are returned
If a refund is approved, we will normally send it back to the original payment method used for the charge.
Processing times depend on the payment processor and your bank or card issuer.
9. Chargebacks and disputes
If you are unsure about a charge, please contact us first before opening a chargeback where possible.
This gives us a chance to review the issue and correct a confirmed billing error more quickly.
10. Changes to this Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our billing model, trial structure, legal requirements, or operational practices.
The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
